Love the food here. It's on the heavier side and the portion is quite large, but no complaints It's a bit more casual and relaxing relative to the other restaurants nearby. Felt a bit more local. Well priced and would come back again.
Flawless evening started with a warm welcome at reception and continued throughout the evening. Our waiter (Austin) was amazing.... no attitude, didn’t rush us and was competent and friendly. The wine, entrees and dessert were delicious. Portions are generous and ambiance is authentic French bistro (relaxed and comfortable). We will definitely be back!
This is my favorite restaurant in Napa Valley and a must eat restaurant whenever we are in town. Our group of four had two cassoulets, a beouf bourguignon, and chicken breasts with morel sauce. The cassoulet was a hit as always, the beef was tasty and the chicken was perfectly done.
We have always had a great time when we dined at Bistro Jeanty. Today, they were no different. We were at the patio because we brought our dogs with us. While the specials were so enticing, some ordered the BJ classics - the sole meiniere, the modules a la Normande, Wagyu steak frites with Bearnaise sauce. But, they also offered some classic egg dishes for brunch. So, one of us ordered the Salmon Benedict. For the specials, we chose the roasted escargot on bone marrow with Bordelaise sauce and toasted baguette slices, and the Mediterranean Sea bass with clams, mussels, zucchini, and fingerling potatoes in a Bouillabaise sauce. For starters, we chose from their lovely salads - Salade Maraichere (haricot vertes, frisee, roasted tomatoes, goat cheese), the salade Betteraves (beets, arugula, orange, and goat cheese). For dessert, we had the crepe Suzette and some coffee. What a lunch!
I loved the Parisian bistro vibes of the place. I recommend the following - Starter- Onion Soup - they make this classic soup perfect Main- Beef bourguignon w/ butter noodles - the short rib was so tender Dessert- Crossiant Bread Pudding - generous portion enough for 2 people
The food was So Delicious. Great customer service and atmosphere. The Cassoulette was very Tasty. My wife loved the Sole, one of the best she's ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.
What a wonderful experience! Don't let the facade fool you, it's a pretty big restaurant. We came here for lunch with friends and it was fantastic. I say that because I'm a typical steak and wine guy and everything on the menu seem so foreign. I let them order and I must say all the food was all amazing. I can't pronounce most of it, but everything was great. Very decadent. The service team was top notch. Also, 100 percent was the ambience. Dining in the back room transports you to France. The vibe and energy was perfect. Highly recommended!
This place has a great atmosphere and superior service (professionals). Wow the Tomato Soup stole the show....both unique and delicious in a way no other tomato soup ever was... Don’t get me wrong the steak was solid, the mussels too above average.... But the beautiful tomato soup stole the show!
